These terms and conditions apply when you request a quote, book a job, or use the website of Spark Tech Electrical (EC 17280), a licensed electrical contractor based in Padbury, Western Australia. Our Services
We provide domestic and commercial electrical services across the Perth metropolitan area, including installations, repairs, upgrades, lighting, safety work and maintenance. All electrical work is carried out by licensed electrical workers to the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and the relevant Western Australian regulations administered by Building and Energy (EnergySafety WA).
Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are based on the information available and the scope agreed at the time. If the work required changes once we are on site, for example hidden faults, access issues, or extra work you ask for, we will discuss it with you and agree any change before continuing where possible. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Where a job depends on third parties such as Western Power for a supply or metering connection, their fees and timeframes are separate and outside our control.
Bookings, Access and Cancellations
To complete your work safely and on time we need clear, safe access to the site and to the switchboard. Please let us know in advance of anything that may affect access, such as pets, alarms or tenants. If you need to change or cancel a booking, give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the time to someone else. Cancellations at short notice or missed appointments may incur a call-out charge.
Payment
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the work or as set out on your invoice. We will always make our pricing clear before we start. Larger or staged jobs may be invoiced in progress payments as agreed.
Workmanship and Warranty
We stand behind our work. Our workmanship is guaranteed and, on completion of notifiable work, we provide the electrical safety certification required in Western Australia. Materials and appliances we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty. Warranties do not cover faults caused by misuse, tampering, work later altered by others, or normal wear and tear.
Safety first: electrical work in WA must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Please do not attempt repairs yourself or have unlicensed people work on your installation, as this is unsafe and may void warranties and insurance.
Liability
We carry out our work with due care and skill and hold the insurances expected of a licensed electrical contractor. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, by pre-existing faults in your installation, or by work performed by others. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
